Homestead B&B

With garden views and morning sun, our quality guest rooms offer you a comfortable and peaceful stay, where you will experience friendly hospitality with fresh and fabulous food. Two cosy bedrooms (one can be converted to singles), each with an ensuite, are part of our inviting country homestead built in 1928 from native timbers milled on the property.

The Garden Room

A light-filled, snug bedroom with mahogany suite, polished wood floor, lush wool rug and views straight onto the large garden. The Garden Room is an attractive and comfortable room attached to the homestead but with private access from the north facing veranda. Ensuite bathroom and tea/coffee making provided. Please read below for a list of further features and amenities.

The Courtyard Studio

For a little independence, or if you require two rooms, this spacious studio-type bedroom converted from the original washhouse (laundry) is ideal. It is just a few steps from the homestead, situated at the back of the house for complete privacy. Made up with a king bed (or two singles), television, kitchenette with fridge and microwave, and a private bathroom. Breakfast can be eaten privately in your room, or hosted in-house. Please read below for a list of further features and amenities.

Features and Amenities

Both rooms have open access to the living areas available in the homestead. The north facing veranda is a lovely spot to read a book or the newspaper while enjoying the sun and serenity.

The attractive homestead lounge opens out onto an expansive deck, and both areas are available for guests to relax, read, watch the birds in the garden, or enjoy your wine.

What a beautiful setting for a bed and breakfast. Neil and his family are gracious hosts who truly care about their guests. Virginia is a fabulous chef! Everything she made was so good. The scenery is amazing so we are sad that our stay is short; we’d love to stay longer.
