Booking Policies Booking Policy
Your booking at Mt Huia is secured on payment of a deposit of $150, or the equivalent of the first night's accommodation, whichever is the greater. Once your booking dates are confirmed the deposit can be paid by NZ cheque, or by provision of credit card details through a secure online link which will be advised. We accept VISA and MasterCard.
Cancellation Policy
As accommodation is on single occupancy basis a late cancellation has a significant effect on our business. Cancellation is required a minimum of fourteen (14) days before date of booking for full refund of deposit. Cancellation between 7 and 13 days prior to booking will result in loss of 50% of deposit.
“No show" or late notification will result in loss of deposit (or having deposit amount charged against your credit card) and the possibility of full charge of the booking being made to your credit card.
Arrival and Departure Policy
Check In is from 3.00pm unless other arrangements are agreed.
Lights will be on if late arrival is advised.
Checkout is by 10.30am unless other arrangements are agreed.
